All Hook Optics sunglasses come with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects—available exclusively to the original purchaser.

To qualify, you must register your sunglasses at the time of purchase through the Warranty Registration section on our website. Unregistered products are not covered.
What’s Covered:
We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. Your warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
What’s Not Covered:
Our warranty does not include:
Accidental damage (drops, crushing, etc.)
Misuse or abuse (improper cleaning, bending, if your sunglasses are left in the car in extreme heat)
Scratches on lenses or frames
Aging wear and tear (fading, peeling, discoloration)
Loss or theft
Unauthorized repairs or modifications
Damage from chemicals or poor storage
If your sunglasses qualify, we’ll repair or replace them at no cost. If not, we’ll contact you with repair options and pricing.

How to Take Care of Your Sunglasses
Always wet your lenses before cleaning. Never wipe them dry. Use fresh water and your Hook Optics microfiber cloth to avoid scratching.
Rinse daily - morning and evening - with fresh water. After a day on the water, salt and grime can build up just like on your rods. Don’t let it dry on the lenses.
For deeper cleaning, use a drop of non-antibacterial dish soap (nothing with moisturizers or additives) to remove skin oils. Rinse thoroughly and dry with your lens cloth.
Never use Windex or household cleaners. These contain chemicals that can damage premium lens coatings. Stick to water, Zeiss lens wipes, or our recommended dish soap method.
Avoid soaking your sunglasses overnight. They’re not built for baths—just a quick rinse will do.
Don’t wear them on your head. This can stretch the frames, misalign lenses, or cause accidental drops. We know you know better, but we had to say it.
Periodically inspect your sunglasses for loose screws or hinges. For adjustments, visit An Optical Galleria or your local optician to avoid damage.
Proper care extends the life of your sunglasses. While damage from wear or accidents isn’t covered under warranty, we do offer a replacement policy.

Return Policy
If, for some reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return it within 30 days from the date of receipt.
Your sunglasses must be unused and returned in the same condition as when received. You will be responsible for return shipping charges.
Simply contact us below, NOTE - RETURN- in the subject. Add the REASON FOR RETURN, ORDER # and DATE OF PURCHASE in the text.
We will respond with a return authorization form to be completed and enclosed with your return. Your account will be credited upon receipt of the return.
Lens Replacement
Hook Optics offers replacement lenses for scratched or damaged lenses.
REPLACEMENT COSTS (If Not Covered by Warranty):
- Thermoforce or Polycarbonate Lenses: $99.00 per pair / $49.50 per lens
- Glass or Hydroo Lenses: $139.00 per pair / $69.50 per lens
- 6% Maryland sales tax and $9.00 return shipping will be added.
